From one day to the next

So the weather in Ohio is crap. If you live here you know it. We went to the Pumpkin' picking farm in my previous post. Note the hats, jackets, jeans etc.

The very next weekend we went to Easton Mall. And the weather was warm enough for this

Pumpkin pickin' time already?

It just doesnt seem like its that time again. But it is and so we went to Circle S Farms and did the deed. And we had the awesome pumpkin donuts....drool!















This year we went in the evening (thus the hats and coats!) and I was able to catch a wonderful sky!

My own make up. It has ranch dressing in it :) Also in it are black beans, steamed green beans, broc., carrots and other odd veggies that I had around. Oh and it just speg. noodles.

It was served cold.

Of all the things he does

Eating random things may just be the most annoying that Phillip does. And trust me he does a lot of annoying things. He eats paper, anything made of rubber (such as the wheels on toy cars) and soft plastic (such as the kind that covers the cords on all electronics).

We spoke with his pedi about it and he wanted to do some testing on him. His tests all came back fine.

Its still REALLY annoying. We have to make sure there are no exposed cords because he eats the plastic (he just peels the plastic off with his teeth and doesnt bite the cord) while things are plugged in.

This is a huge thing for me. I am constantly afraid that he is going to choke on something or get shocked! It really is an issue for me and I am bothered by it daily.

But sometimes he eats things that I just think are cute and for the most part harmless.

So, as you know by now, I have been teaching myself (with advice from a lovely lady here and there) to knit. Hats are something I have been working on a lot. #1 they are easy. #2 who doesnt love a hat?


I have a few other projects (earwarmer and fingerless gloves that I have finished for Abby) that I will be posting soon!

There is always a new critter of some sort coming in this home. This time was a MASSIVE grasshopper. I mean really, this thing was freakishly huge...

It CAN be done!

I have been struggling with organization for the last few months. Since I have been working, I just dont feel like organizing things when I get home. So I have made it my mission to pick one spot to do at a time. When I have the time. This was one of those times :)
