Hellooooo Mr. President!!!!

We were lucky today! We were able to watch Air Force One land in Columbus! It was a really neat experience for us!!!!

There were only a handful of people there (I expected tons!) and our clan (we took a few friends with us) were the only ones waving to the plane. I like to think that he was looking out the window and our click was able to wave him in!!!

Have a peek....

Is that a Talbot I see?

It is no secret that my husband is madly in love with the game of baseball. But the cost of seeing a "real" game is just too much for us. I caught a Groupon a few months back for a Clippers game. $10 for 2 reserved seats.

Kevin wanted to see Mitch Talbot, and he did!

A little test of Faith

The Missionaries were over one day last week and they wanted to have a lesson on faith. One of them said "Abby, would you like to volunteer for our lesson on faith?"
Abby said "Sure, my middle name is Faith!" And we all had a giggle because her middle name really is Faith.

So the lesson involved a burning tea bag in her hand and she had to have the faith that it was going to get hot and uncomfortable, but it if she would wait it out, she would see that the tea bag would float off BEFORE the actual fire met her skin.

She didnt move and it did float away before it got to her hand.

Of course she need to have Daddy try it too!

Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho to Kirtland we a go!

We went to Kirtland. I am not sure what I was expecting, but I felt let down. It was very nice. Very well kept and full of beautiful items. I just couldn't feel the Spirit. I just couldnt "see" the times.

I am hoping to go back without the kiddos and see if I can "feel it" then.

But, I did have a great time photographing while I was there!

Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure.
